Site Unseen

This show presents interpretations of this notion by six first-year MFA candidates from the Stamps School of Art & Design at University of Michigan.

Opening Friday, December 19, 6-9pm.

Show runs through January 30.

All is Divine by Trae IsAAc

The All is Divine showcase is a dedication to our mothers, wives, daughters, nieces, lovers, and women of all cultures. "My mother and grandmother embody the love, passion and strength I had grown to be my own today. As powerful women they raised me to be a man who could more than hold his own but be loving and charitable to his community." - Trae IsAAc

Essay'd

Essay'd is an ongoing project in which Rosie Sharp, Dennis A Nawrocki and Steve Panton each select one Detroit artist a month to write a short essay about. In parallel with the resulting collection of essays, each featured artist is given the invitation to place a small number of moderate cost works in a "permanent collection" of work stored at 9338 Campau. This show will feature the work submitted by the first group of ten artists: Corrie Baldauf, Rose DeSloover, Saffell Gardner, Melanie Manos, Kathryn Brackett Luchs, Nicole Macdonald, Kathleen Rashid, Tzarinas of the Plane, Corine Vermeulen and Carl Wilson.
