Every Thursday, 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Learn the healing and calming effects of knitting and crocheting.  Socialize with others with the same interest.
Help others by either teaching someone to knit or
making something needed by a child, a senior citizen,
or a homeless person.

Bring your knitting materials!  Some materials may be
provided.


            
NPRC Grant Database Training

Ever wonder what it would be like to build a house?  What would it look like?  Join New London artist, Margarita Hernandez-Maxson to learn how to use different materials to build a house.

This is a three day program and you must commit to all three in order to participate.  This program is for teens and tweens.

Come and visit our Self-Portrait Station in the Children's Room! Draw a self-portrait or just look in the mirror and give yourself a compliment! Add it to the compliment jar and learn what others have to say about their own reflection.

The Art Experiment      
Every Thursday in July
10:30 am - 11:30 am

 

Each week, we will be experimenting with color, texture, light and shadow.  Come make "trash" art, "found" art, "sound" art and more!  Children should be able to use scissors independently or can work with
a parent's assistance. This program is free and no registration is required,
but please call ahead with groups of 6 or more so we can be sure to have
plenty of supplies on hand.  Location: Children's Activity Room.


DPNC Fizz Boom Read! Science Series

Sharing stories along with her music, she makes the program as powerful as it is entertaining. Bach 2 Rock is part concert, part self-esteem builder, and part music education! Fun for all ages.

Bastille Day
