CCS Kicks Off 37th Year With Blue & White Night

CCS welcomed more than 680 new and returning Warriors on August 13, 2014, as the school entered its 37th year. The annual Blue & White Night back-to-school event was held in the football stadium and included a concert from the Robbie Seay Band and a preview of the upcoming fine arts musical. Athletic teams and cheerleaders were also introduced, and rings were presented to our state champion girls' track and field and varsity baseball teams.

A special thanks to our event sponsor - Amerisource, to the Robbie Seay Band, and to all who organized, volunteered and attended. Each of you contributed to make this event a fun way to gather together to dedicate the school year to the Lord.

"Best Day Ever"

Michelle Anderson, mom of kindergarten student Connor Anderson, emailed CCS Admissions Director Angie Ramirez with these encouraging words: "I was so nervous on my son's first day of school, but my nerves were quickly calmed with the 'family-feel' of the campus and the sweet greetings from the teachers and staff. My son's words for his first day were 'best day ever' which gave me such peace that we had chosen the right school for him. I've been overwhelmed with happiness during his first few days. My heart melted when Connor came home and told me his Bible verse. I felt like after one day I got a glimpse of the man he will grow to be." Read more...
