Movie in the Park on November 28
First, the advertising messages will play through several times prior to the movie (The Polar Express) showing at about 8:00; the rotation will play through from dusk until the movie starts. Each advertisement (~1 minute) will include some on-screen movement to capture the eye and an appropriate upbeat music piece. Advertisements can include company logos or photographs and will repeat about every 10 minutes. Second, the same ads will play all evening behind the movie-goers near the vendor gazebo once the movie starts. It, too, will rotate at 1-minute intervals, but it will play without music so the sound does not compete with the movie. The advertising content at the gazebo will be view-able by anyone walking to the restroom, going to get refreshments, or as they leave the park after the movie. A few community service messages will also be interspersed in the rolling advertisements. The Friends of the Park are seeking advertising sponsors at $100 each. The sponsorships cover the cost of the movie licensing and apparatus rental. Checks can be made payable to the Friends of the Park or to the Bulverde Community Park Association (a 501(c)3 organization). Attendance at the movie is free. Moviegoers may bring food, drink, blankets, and folding chairs and are reminded to dress warmly with weather-appropriate coats, hats, and gloves. Contact Larry Sunn at 201.286.8050 if you have any other questions. Checks can be mailed to PO Box 30, Bulverde, TX 78163 |
