Does your group face veterinary bills for animals rescued from shelters?  If so, learn about a grant to assist with those bills during the How We Make it Work: Busting Myths, Working Together, Best Practices, and Saving Treatable Pets session at the Getting to the Goal conference

This session, presented by Courtney Protz-Sanders (Michigan Rescue Certification Program Task Force; Mi-PACA; Paws for Life Rescue), will be offered on Thursday September 4. The full description is:

Can the animal advocates, rescue groups, and shelters of Michigan come together to save all our healthy and treatable pets? Yes, if we stop believing unproven or disproven myths, learn what works and doesn't work and share that information openly, and utilize existing resources for success. Learn more about the Michigan Pet Fund Alliance's best practices for animal rescue groups and the Judith Middleton Kroon Fund for helping pay the veterinary expenses of treatable pets pulled from shelters in this session.
