Austin Travis County Integral Care is leading planning efforts to curb substance use in Travis County. You're invited to take part in a community forum to discuss concerns, ideas and options. We want to hear from you!

Representatives from Central Health, the City of Austin, Travis County and Integral Care will discuss findings from the substance use task force, short and long-term plans for addressing substance use in the community--including timelines and opportunities for community involvement--and how they fit into larger behavioral health planning for Travis County. Sam Woollard, of Woollard Nichols & Associates, will lead the forum. Featured panelists include Sherri Fleming, Health & Human Services and Veterans Services county executive,Stephanie Hayden, assistant director of the community services division of the Austin/Travis County Health & Human Services Department, Lisa Owens, Central Health senior healthcare planner. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

Input from Integral Care’s consumers, family members and the community at-large has never been more important. Your thoughts and ideas will help guide and influence future efforts to meet identified community needs.

The forum is free, and open to the public. Once again, we encourage employees, consumers, family members, agency partners, and the community at-large to attend, and share input on these critical issues. Participants who cannot attend may also submit questions and comments via twitter or Facebook the week of the event.

Light food and refreshments will be served.
