We have offered great opportunities twice a year to share "Best Practices": at Leadership Day workshops at the National Conference and at Spring Leadership Meetings held around the country. We would like to make the WACA national network's wealth of knowledge available year-round.

WACA logo square small The World Affairs Councils of America's National Office hosts informative teleconferences every month so that Council peers can discuss Best Practices to make our programs more impactful and our organizations more effective.

Join Shannon McAfee, Director of Public Programs at the Columbus Council on World Affairs, and Madonna Kramer, Programming Director at the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan, for this month's call on a Primer on Social MediaBoth handle the social media duties at their respective Councils.
The call will be held on
Tuesday, October 21, at 4:00 PM ET.

Join the call to learn how your Council can use Twitter and Facebook. Madonna and Shannon will explain how they use these two social mediums to generate buzz, promote membership, and increase attendance at events. Other methods will be touched on but the focus will be on Twitter and Facebook.
