Situational Awareness Platform
On Friday, June 10th, the GNJMA hosted a web meeting to introduce Members to
Metro-OPS.
Metro-OPS is the real-time situational awareness platform from the Metropolitan Resilience Network (MRN).
The MRN is a program fully funded by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
The Network integrates elements of the business community, government, critical infrastructure, and other key stakeholders across the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut region to collaborate on both developing incidents and evolving threats.
The Platform is comprised of dashboards designed to monitor both the day-to-day operations environment as well as disruptions in real time.
The dashboards present diverse live feed information (public safety, critical infrastructure, traffic, weather, etc.) from pre-researched, trusted intelligence channels as well as filtered social media feeds in a password protected environment."
The MRN is championed and funded by the Port Authority of NY & NJ, and hosted by the International Center for Enterprise Preparedness (InterCEP) at New York University.
There is no cost for MRN participation
