Market Updates
Fall Market Reminder: starting this Saturday, the farmers market's hours will change to 9am - 1pm.  Please remember not to show up early; vendors will not be able to sell before the opening bell. Enjoy the extra hour of leisure in your morning! :)

This week at the market, we have just about all of our regular vendors here for you! Sage & Sea will be taking the month of October off, so won't be at the market this week (our vendors deserve a vacation every once in a while as well!). This will be the final week of the season for Hammer & Tuffy Granola, so if you're a fan of their gluten free granola, be sure to stock up this week! They'll be back with us next spring.

See you at the market!
Featured Products

golden chanterelles from peak forest fruit
Chanterelles
Nature's Wild Harvest
If you have not yet explored the bounty of wild foraged mushrooms that Oregon has to offer, it's not too late - particularly the vibrant and floral chanterelles, Oregon's official state mushroom. This is a peak time for chanterelles as we transition into the rainy season. In a month or two, with colder weather we will begin to see less of these as foragers have to travel farther south to find them. Stop by Nature's Wild Harvest and pick up fresh and dried mushrooms of all types. If you are not sure how to use them just ask!

Starkrimson Pear
Mt. Hood Organic Farms
You know fall is here when Mt. Hood Organic Farms starts their season at the market! They've been a fixture of HFM's fall season for years, growing dozens of varieties of heirloom apples and pears at their organic and biodynamic orchard (located within shouting distance of Mt. Hood). One favorite is the Starkrimson pear, named after its dark crimson color (of course) and also after its originators, the Stark brothers who also developed more well-known varieties like the Golden and Red Delicious. Starkrimson is mild, sweet and very juicy when ripe!

Bouquets
Herr Family Farm
Herr Family Farm wants to make you a bouquet with their beautiful flowers, grown 100% locally at various sites in Oregon and Washington by this family-owned farm! Or, as always, you can customize a bouquet with your own favorites of their

Albion Strawberries
Unger Farms
Fall may be here, but summer is not completely gone! For instance, we're still seeing some big bright Albion strawberries at Unger Farms, a variety that grows most of the year and is a bit larger and sturdier than the summer berries. These are great for making one last batch of jam to keep and use over the winter months.
