 Hooray! Spring is truly here, and so is ASPARAGUS!! Beginning this Saturday, April 4th, the Hollywood Farmers Market will be open every Saturday. We're also opening an hour earlier, from 8 am to 1 pm, for all of you early risers. In addition to ProFarm's delicate first spring asparagus, this Saturday marks the return of many of your favorite vendors. Fleur de Lis will be back at market with beautiful bread and pastries, THINK Unique Gardens will have lots of jams and plant starts, Sweet Briar will have pork and eggs, and Nossa Familia will be back with steaming cups of their awesome fresh-brewed coffee. Peak Forest Fruit and Gabriel's Bakery are returning after a week away, and Dragonfly Forge will also be on hand, ready to sharpen your knives and tools.
It's such an exciting time at market! We can't wait to see you this Saturday.

We would like to thank New Seasons Market for once again generously contributing to our Fresh Funds SNAP matching program, which increases the purchasing power of SNAP recipients shopping at the Hollywood Farmers Market! New Seasons has been a major supporter of Fresh Funds (and similar programs at many other farmers markets) since it first began at HFM in 2010. Their support this year will ensure that 600 families have access to fresh, local produce from their neighborhood farmers market.
