HELP FIGHT ISLAMOPHOBIA THIS RAMADAN

We pray that you receive this in the best of health and Iman and pray that you and your family are enjoying the best of blessings this Ramadan. We also hope that the resources we have put together for you at  Ramadan Central  is helpful for you and your community.

We join you in lamenting the malaise of ever-so-fast growing Islamophobia. You will agree that lamenting is not enough. You may also agree that we must do more and do it together.

We invite you to support the Shura Council's program: Muslim Speakers Network (MSN) which is organized around providing education to fellow Americans inside and outside public schools and similar public spaces about Muslims and Islam in America. 

During the last six months, MSN has already held five trainings to certify community members as speakers and also gave presentations about Islam to more than twelve-hundred students. We can do more with your support. Scholars have approved zakat for this purpose and we urge you to consider MSN in your Zakat  contributions. 



Our goal is to raise $50,000 during this blessed month, which will help us retain the current part-time program coordinator as a full-time position and organize more trainings and many more presentations in this coming year.

  2. Donate online.
  3. Donate by mail - write your check, payable to 'Islamic Shura Council' and write in the memo (MSN) and mail it to 7231 Garden Grove Blvd., Suite H, Garden Grove, CA 92841.
  4. Collect from your congregation and let us know of amount and we will work out the logistics to receive the funds from you.
  5. Pray that together we help our fellow southern Californians learn more about Islam.
Once again, we extend our most fervent wishes for a blessed Ramadan and ask that you keep us in your prayers as we do the same.
