*** BEAR ISLAND BREWING *** The Officers just returned from a trip to Europe - Ireland, UK, Belgium, & Germany - They visited 10 different breweries, spoke to many brewers, & tried about 65 different BEERS. Here they are at St. James's Gate Brewery, founded in 1759 in Dublin, Ireland, by Arthur Guinness. BEAR ISLAND BREWING is still waiting on licensing and equipment, and hope to be open for production & distribution by Octoberfest

*** TOUR DE FAT *** Boise's Record Breaking Tour de Fat raised about $70,000 for bicycling in Boise! An estimated 9,000 pedal powered people joined in the parade forming 3.4 miles of bicyclists, followed by over 10,000 at the park! Thanks to all who participated!

Idaho Brewers United is proud to present BREW AT THE ZOO featuring craft BEER from Idaho and beyond!
Attendees of the event will receive a commemorative cup, appetizers and unlimited sampling of BEER while enjoying the Zoo free of children. This will not be your typical BEER festival in that we are providing appetizers and music in addition to fantastic BEER in a very awesome setting. Plus you don't have to worry about children getting in your way when you're trying to check out the tigers!
Small appetizers are included in your ticket price. Additional food will be available for purchase.
Must be 21 or older with valid ID to enter the event.
Designated Drivers must be 21 or older to enter the event and use the special "designated driver ticket" price. DDs will be clearly identified and unable to receive any alcohol.
Minors are not allowed in the event.

 * 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm: The RAM Tres Amigos @ BIER:THIRTY! A Tequila Soaked Oak-Aged Imperial IPA! We're really, really excited about this. We've been trying iterations of this BEER for a little while now and let us just say, there is nothing like this BEER, it is one of the best in the northwest -- and we don't say that lightly. Tom Charters, in collaboration with the "Two Jakes", Jake Schisel and Jake Talbot of The RAM brewed a huge batch of this extremely popular BEER. Not only will there be releases around town, this BEER will be headed to the Great American Beer Festival to compete in the Pro-Am! An insane amount of hops go into balancing out this 11% ABV imperial IPA, along with some resting time on Casa Noble Reposado Tequila soaked oak ships -- this special keg of Tres Amigos that BIER:THIRTY will be pouring also has an addition of 100% Mexican agave added to it. We're really excited to host the brewers of this fine BEER for what we promise to be a very special tapping.
