Pack a Safe Cooler

The summer months are upon us which means it is time to do a lot of outdoor eating. This season as you prepare for your picnics and barbecues remember warm weather events also present opportunities for foodborne bacteria to thrive. As food heats up in summer temperatures, bacteria multiply very rapidly.  To keep yourself, your family, and your friends safe from foodborne illness during warm-weather months, safe food handling is critical.
