Dear Friend,

School is in full swing and so now begins our fall season here at St. David's. There is a lot going on here and many ways you can get connected!

This Sunday (Sept. 7) we begin our Youth Forums for all grades 6 - 12. Please meet in the Youth Room for a short time of community and
introductions. We will separate into individual small groups from there.

We begin at 10:25.

Next Wednesday (Sept 10), evening Youth Group resumes ~ with a twist! We are co-creating this time together, which means you need to come help shape what this will become. All grades 6 - 12 are invited.

Grab your calendars and put down those dates and times. I look forward to seeing you there!

Lunch. School lunch can be weird, especially at a new school. Where do you sit? Who do you sit with? What if your friends have a different lunch period? Then what?

Our faith has a lot to say about food and meals and sharing.

Consider this:

I was hungry and you gave me food to eat.

I was thirsty and you gave me a drink.

I was a stranger and you welcomed me.

Our tables are natural gathering places. And even the school lunch table can be a holy place where we gather not only to eat, but to share and get to know each other better.
