The underwater landscape was formed by volcanic activity. The seabed is covered in rocky formations such as pinnacles, big drop off's, caves and tunnels. The variety and abundance of fish is quite remarkable.
Peer into the cracks and crevasses and you can find lobsters and seahorses, and there's a good selection of corals and sponges too. Common marine life can include tuna, parrotfish, groupers, flatfish, angel sharks, octopus, sting rays and morays. Those that are exceptionally lucky, during certain times of the year can be blessed with sand tiger sharks, manta, whale sharks, dolphins and turtles.
