Metro-North Railroad elected to award Nadler Modular with the $600K MTA contract for the delivery and setup of 14 new trailers.

Nadler successfully completed the disposal, removal, and demolition of old modular office units from the Electrical Department of Metro-North. The sub-departments involved were 3rd rail, substation, training, and line gang. Nadler supplied, delivered, and installed 14 new trailers in various sites throughout Westchester and the Bronx. The locations included Crestwood, Harmon, Hastings, North White Plains, Mott Haven, and New Rochelle. The new trailer sizes were 10x40, 10x50, 12x60, and 24x40.

 

Metro-North is a suburban commuter railroad that is run by the MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) of NY State. With regard to monthly ridership, Metro-North is the second busiest commuter railroad in the United States. The busiest is the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road). Metro-North operates 124 stations. It provides service from NYC to both New York and Connecticut suburbs. Metro-North also provides local rail service within NYC.
