Welcome to Villa Park's E-newsletter "The Feeder." The City of Villa Park  is dedicated to sharing information and resources with the community. This newsletter will highlight information on community interests, events, and activities, as well as update and report on major projects happening in the city. Save the Date: National Night Out

 
 
The Orange County Sheriff's Department and the City of Villa Park invites you to "National Night Out".

"National Night Out" is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.

This year, Villa Park's "National Night Out" will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Villa Park City Hall. Come enjoy free food, prizes, activities for the kids, music, entertainment, Police and Fire displays, and check out the local businesses that will be showcased.

Public Services Responder (PSR) Recruiting Day Tomorrow!
The City of Villa Park and the Orange County Sheriff's Department have teamed up to bring Professional Services Responders (PSR) to Villa Park.
 
The purpose of the Orange County Sheriff Department (OCSD) Professional Services Responder Program is to recruit and train highly successful professional men and women, who are forward thinking and action oriented to provide on a voluntary basis their leadership and professional skills as they relate to the OCSD Mission Statement.
 
Professional Services Responder volunteers provide administrative and leadership support in the areas of: emerging technologies, communications, industrial relations, graphic arts, healthcare, legal and accounting services, and emergency response resources.
 
If you are interested in becoming a PSR or want to learn more about the position, the next interviewing date will be tomorrow, June 11, 2016 at the Sheriff's Academy, located at 15991 Armstrong Avenue, Tustin, CA 92782.
 
The Pre-screen interview will start at 9:00 a.m., be sure to arrive early for instructions. Dress is Business Casual.
