Meet STARLINK's New Director
|
My thoughts are racing to my son's high school graduation coming up in a couple of weeks. The sobering fact ringing in my head is that only about 1 out of every 4 of his classmates entering college will actually earn a bachelor's degree. This brings into sharp focus the "why" of STARLINK.
Educational institutions can do better in seeing our students succeed and increasing completion rates. As the newly appointed director of STARLINK, I'm honored to continue the tradition of excellence - by equipping and inspiring educators with leading edge web-based professional development and 24/7 access to our on demand resource library.
I started working in education full-time in 1991 serving as Producer, Media Productions Director, and have 18+ years teaching experience as adjunct faculty at University of North Texas and Richland College. I earned a Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (Texas A&M School of Law), MLA from Southern Methodist University, and a bachelor's degree in Radio/TV/Film from University of North Texas.
I look forward to a bright future with STARLINK as we forge ahead with excellence, purpose, and passion.
