EURYDICE - Meet Some of the Cast

The characters in the play travel between  the surface world and the underworld.  The r eality and rules are different in each place.  The characters are challenged to adapt as much as possible.

Max Nelson, who plays Father, relates to the loss of memory that occurs in the underworld.  He attempts to reconnect with his daughter in the play and imagines what it would be like to be able to create communication where it has been lost in daily life, such as in a case where Alzheimer's disease has taken away the connection.

I zzy Mar plays Eurydice.  The audience is able to hear her thoughts on various topics as she makes her journey.  Izzy enjoys her character's inquisitive quality.  She has a sort of innocence, but is really quite wise and aware of what is going on around her.

Orpheus is played by Diego Roberts Buceta.  The Orpheus from mythology was a supremely gifted minstrel.  Diego's character is also a musician and he speaks in poetic and musical terms.  He becomes completely undone and desperate when he cannot find Eurydice.
