Be a tourist in your own town with Discover Downtown Akron Passports

Your ticket to art, culture and entertainment events on sale Nov. 28 for just $15

(Akron, Ohio) - For the fourth year, Downtown Akron Partnership is offering Discover Downtown Akron Passports. For just $15, passport holders receive admission to 17 different events beginning with First Night Akron on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014. The remaining 16 events run through December 2015.

Events include tours, free admission to popular venues, sports events, dining, theater and more. The passport has an actual value of $238 and the First Night Akron button is a $10 value in itself.

 

Passports are available for purchase beginning Nov. 28 at Acme Fresh Market, Actors' Summit Theater, Akron Art Museum, Akron Civic Theatre box office (located across the street from the Civic on the first floor of the Ohio Building), Angel Falls Coffee (Highland Square), the Library Shop on Main and NOTO. Passports are also available at www.downtownakron.com/passport and from the Downtown Akron Partnership office (103 S. High St.) A total of 1,500 passports will be available for sale. Schools and community organizations interested in selling Discover Downtown Akron Passports as a fundraiser can contact Kelli Fetter at 330-374-7676 for details.

 

Offerings are date specific and can be found at  www.downtownakron.com/passport. When ready to redeem an event, present your passport for admission and receive a stamp. In some instances you must present your passport prior to the event to receive a ticket. Space may be limited at some venues, so advanced reservations are encouraged.
