Key Capsule Polishers:
CP-350-WD Capsule Polishers 
The Key Capsule Polisher (CP 350-WD) is a must have for any company producing hard gelatin capsules due to its compact size, economic pricing and high quality polishing. The unit is adjustable to any height discharge from any capsule filler and can handle capsule speeds of up to 300,000 per hour. The MT-Capsule Sorter (optional attachment) can be used for rejection and collection of empty capsules.
  • Gentle product handling that results in less attrition, breakage and waste
  • Easy disassembly and wash down cleaning
  • Fewer and less expensive change parts and an efficient dust collection nozzle
Key Tablet Dedusters:
TD-101-WD Tablet Dedusters 
Designed for the operator in mind, the cost-effective Key Tablet Deduster (TD-101-WD) is completely wash down, which reduces the downtime between cleanings. The unit is constructed of mirror polished, stainless steel with an adjustable base, variable speed vibrator and an adjustable inlet funnel.
  • GMP design and construction
  • Quick disconnect Lexan top cover
  • Stainless steel vacuum connection for dust control
 
VATD-550 Vertical Ascending Tablet Deduster
The Key VATD-550 vertical ascending tablet deduster is a high speed machine that removes excess dust from pressed pharmaceutical tablets.  The VATD-550 is a very flexible machine that can accommodate different output speeds (up to 550,000 tablets/hour) and the height is adjustable to fit any type of tablet press.    
  • Adjustable to accommodate different press outputs, up to 550,000/hour
  • 316L stainless steel dedusting tower with continuous TIG welded spiral tray
  • Highly polished stainless steel stand with sanitary locking floor casters
  • Quick dismantling

Key High Shear Granulator/Mixers:

The KG-5 is a cost effective, state-of-the-art, bench top high shear granulator/mixer.  This unit is ideal for R&D laboratory usage for the processing of small batches and has the flexibility for scale up.  With a large touch-screen operator interface, the KG-5 is easy to use and generates meaningful product performance data. 
  • Interchangeable bowl system for different batch sizes (1 liter, 3 liter & 5 liter)
  • Main propeller has a 3-blade design with speeds from 50-750rpm
  • Options include variable speed chopper (1,000-10,000rpm) and a liquid addition system

HT-300 & HT-500 Hardness Testers
Key Hardness Testers Key Tablet Hardness Testers have proven to be the most reliable and accurate hardness testers on the market today. The units are very easy to operate with no downtime, simple calibration and easy set-up. Both models can be used for batch testing and quality control to measure the strength of tablets and ensure that hardness falls within your specifications.
  • The LED display shows each hardness test result in large, easy to read numbers
  • Both round and irregular shaped tablets can be used
  • The integrated printer is a simple way of producing a printout to show various results
  • The machine has an accuracy of +/- 1%
Key Tablet Friability Tester:
FT-400 Friability Tester
The Key Tablet Friability Tester (FT400) is used to determine, or test, the resistivity of tablets to breakage based on the loss in tablet weight due to breakage caused by induced mechanical stress. This easy to operate machine has two transparent acrylic drums with curved scoops that convey tablets upward, then drop at a prescribed height and speed.
  • Two testing modes: Drop Count & Timed Test
  • Drum speed of 25rpm
  • Drums are assembled and removed quickly and easily for loading, unloading and clean up
  • Drums are driven by a synchronous motor providing maximum accuracy  
Key Tablet/Capsule Transport System:
AV200 Air Veyor
Air Veyor
The Key Model AV200 air-veyor system is designed to elevate capsules to a suitable height. The AV200 is used to transport capsules between processing functions (i.e. metal checking, check weighing, dedusting or polishing). Additionally, it may be used to transport finished product to a tote, bin, or container. No electrical connections are required, simply attach to in-house compressed air.
  • Simple, lightweight, no moving parts 
  • Easy to set up and clean
