Today is a day to honor dads. The National Retail Federation says that spending for Father's Day this year could hit a record $14.3 billion. The largest category of spending is on fun activities and experiences, like brunch or dinner (47%); 22% will give a "gift of experience," such as tickets to a concert or sporting event. However, total spending will fall short of the $21.4 billion spent on Mother's Day this year.
