FAU Real Estate Economist Says Summer May Be The Hottest Season To Buy And Sell A Home In More Ways Than One

While spring is traditionally the busiest time for real estate sales, this summer could prove to be the hottest time for buying or selling a home, according to a real estate economist at Florida Atlantic University. U.S. new home sales posted their strongest month in more than eight years in April, while existing home sales rose for the second straight month, spurred by steady job growth and historically low interest rates. Developer gets green light on plans for former D'Angelo Farms site in Dumont 
 
A Wyckoff-based developer can move ahead with plans to build at least 142 apartment units, including 18 deemed affordable, on the former D'Angelo Farms property and the site of the existing but vacant Borough Hall, according to a Superior Court ruling this week. READ MORE
