Annual Chipping Service
The City of Hamilton's free chipping service is being offered the second Saturday of each month from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. beginning in April and running through October. The next date of  service is  Saturday, June 11, 2016. The location is the parking lot of the Water Reclamation Facility. Some restrictions apply; for more information click here.
The Great Ohio Bike Adventure (GOBA) is beginning and ending in Hamilton next week. 1,600 riders are expected to arrive on June 18 and will be back on Saturday June 25. Opening ceremonies will be held at RiversEdge the evening of the 18th and will be followed by a concert open to the public. During this event there will be a large number of cyclists going through Butler County, so please be cautious and respectful while driving.
2016  Gas   Leak  Survey
The City of Hamilton is required by the U.S. Department of Transportation to periodically conduct  leak  surveys on all natural  gas  piping. The 2016 survey will start on  June 13, 2016 and should be completed by  August 23, 2016. The survey will be conducted in the area shown  to the left.  A City of Hamilton Gas & Water Distribution employee along with an employee from Southern Cross will conduct the survey... Meldahl Dedication
Last week our newest hydroelectric plant, Meldahl, had its official ribbon cutting and dedication. Meldahl has been fully operational as of April 12th and is now the largest low-head, direct-drive, ball-turbine unit in the world. BCRTA Job Connector
The Butler County Regional Transit Authority recently added another bus route serving Hamilton. The BCRTA Job Connector which runs from Downtown Hamilton to Tri-County Mall connecting a number of neighborhoods and industrial areas along the way.

Hamilton Night at the Reds
Hamilton Reds Night is on July 22nd and the Cincinnati Reds are playing the Arizona Diamondbacks. The game is at 7:10 pm. Our Honor Guard will be on the field at the beginning of the game and a handful of students will be singing at the 7th inning stretch!

Tickets are available at the Welcome Center (1 High Street, Hamilton Ohio, 45011). The seats are directly across from the Fireworks. Tickets are $25 and a portion of these funds goes to the Joe Nuxhall Character Education Fund.

Two (2) buses will be leaving from behind the Government Services building (345 High Street, Hamilton Ohio, 45011) at approximately 5 pm. The cost of the bus is $15 per person. Please call Karen Wittmer at 513-844-8050 if you want Reds tickets and/or a bus ticket.

Hamilton's 2016 4th of July Parade theme is "Celebrating Hamilton's History With The Arts".
