It's already time for another great Saturday at the Hollywood Farmers Market, and we will be greeted by pleasant

temperatures even more delicious Oregon berries. Stain your
hands purple while munching on blackberries from Unger Farms and blueberries from Sun Gold Farm and Happy Harvest Farm. Make sure to get your flat of Hood strawberries for making your favorite creation before they disappear for the season.

Still have space in your garden? Find the perfect eggplant, pepper, squash or tomato from Gales Meadow Farm and THINK Unique Gardens. While there is still a great variety to

choose from now, as area farms transition to harvesting summer crops the amount and variety of plant starts at market begins to decrease as we move toward July.

Seed & Thistle Apothecary will be making their season debut, and joining us each second Saturday of the month. Check out Lara's beeswax salves and balms, drinking vinegars and herbal remedies made from home grown and wild gathered herbs.

In case you missed them last week, Stellar Pop returns again with their bike powered cart of cold ice pops in a range of flavors featuring all organic ingredients. They will be at market weekly for rest of the season.

Also at market this week are Thomas & Sons Distillery and Cardamon Hills Trading Company. Make sure to stop by for a sample and pick up a bottle of liquor for stocking the bar, and a jar of chutney for stocking the pantry. Both are easy choices the next time you entertain. Dragonfly Forge is also on board to sharpen any blade you may their way.

Kids' Day this Saturday!

This Saturday is our annual Kids' Day! It'll feature live kids music from Steve Cooper and Talulah's Daddy, face painting, and a farmers market scavenger hunt. We're especially excited for the scavenger hunt; each child who completes it will earn a prize - $2 in farmers market tokens! Joanna from Turnip the Heat Cooking School will be running the scavenger hunt from her usual tent near the east entrance from 9am to 12 noon. Happy hunting!

Only a month to go before we transform our block of NE Hancock Street! The Hollywood Street Painting Project has created the beautiful design you see below, and on a Sunday July 10th, we will paint this beautiful 80-foot-long mural on our beloved block of Hancock Street.
