Dear Friends,

When Ohioans' voting rights are challenged, who stands up to defend them? Who has persevered in the challenge to create fair electoral districts?  Who continues to press for more accountable schools, clean water, and sustainable energy policies?

You.  And we are so grateful to have your support in these efforts, and your help in sustaining our organization.

You may know the state League of Women Voters is actually two organizations working as one, supported by separate funds. There is the LWV Ohio Education Fund, our 501(c)(3) side that does education work, and the LWV Ohio, our 501(c)(4) side that conducts our advocacy and membership work.

We are nearing the end of our fiscal year on June 30, and while donors have given generously to support our c3 LWVO Education Fund, we are well short of our goal for c4 LWV Ohio advocacy and membership.

Your support of LWV Ohio empowers mission-critical tasks, including winning passage of Issue 1 state Fair Districts reform last fall, organizing to extend those same fair districts rules to how we draw Congressional districts, and lobbying the legislature and administration to protect voting rights and other core League issues.

In addition, LWV Ohio is finalizing a series of newly updated membership materials to help recruit more people who care about those things that are near and dear to you and the League.

A donation to LWV Ohio keeps your concerns in the spotlight. Can you help us meet our goal? If every person receiving this message gave just $25 - or more, if you're able - before June 30, we would end the fiscal year better prepared for the very active political season ahead. With gratitude,
