Dr. William Hurst Recognized with Dr. Willie Young Serving the Mission Volunteer Award 

Dr. William R. Hurst of Jonesboro was recognized recently as the recipient of the 2016 Dr. Willie Young Serving the Mission Volunteer Award. The award, named after the late Dr. Willie Young, honors Hurst for many years of volunteer work.
Local Schools Receive PE Scholarship Funds for Participation in Kids Rock and Run at Expo 2016  

Three elementary schools in Craighead County have received a total of $1,750 in physical education scholarships by having the most students sign up for the Kids Rock and participate in the Kids Rock & Run at this year's St. Bernards Medical Group Health & Fitness Expo.

Fifty St. Benrards employees were recognized for exceptional service during a special dinner held as a part of National Hospital Week activities. The employees represent those who provide both direct patient care and support services and are from 12 towns in eight Arkansas counties.

Dr. Justin Yancey Joins St. Bernards as a Pediatric Hospitalist

In clinical practice in Jonesboro for the last couple of years, Yancey will be responsible for leading the way in improving access to high quality inpatient pediatric care at St. Bernards by developing the medical center's pediatric hospitalist program.
