You have likely heard about the massacre in Orlando that occurred this weekend. Officials are calling it an act of terrorism. More info here

The country is mourning about how senseless and cruel this act is. How could anyone commit such a hate crime?

I'll tell you why. Because that person is acting on behalf of most human beings on Earth. Because most people are performing acts of anger, judgement, control and fear every day. And because we deny this in ourselves, it gets suppressed, stuffed under the planetary mattress.

Until one day, someone, by the law of projection, unleashes a hideous, heart-breaking, news-absorbing hate crime. They are venting for the planet because WE haven't taken the time, or guts to look at how that anger lives in us. You may think I'm crazy for saying this, but even more reason to pay attention.

This studio is called The Shift, and its purpose is to change the way we look at ourselves. Its purpose is to make a difference. It's time to double down, because sadly, I do not think Orlando is the last of this movement.

We. Us. You. Have to pry open the inner gates and take a good look around. Earlier this month we did a free circle on "Inviting your skeletons to dinner" and it changed the lives of those who attended. With a slightly different name, but the same intention, every class that I teach this week is going to include the same powerful work of re-claiming our shadow selves. Regardless of the class, this is going to happen. It must.

There is one way to heal this planet, and that is to heal ourselves. If you are ready for something to change, this is it.

I will also be calling out days and times that I will be sitting, inviting circles to join for free, to "Love our shadows".

I challenge you to step out of your box. Honor those who have lost their lives for the sake of providing us with a wake up call. Do your work.

We pray for those friends and families who have lost a loved one. May they be surrounded with light and love and reassurance that even thousands of miles away, we are doing our part to heal this massive wound that the planet carries.

With love,
