APPNA expresses shock and grief at mass shooting in Orlando

APPNA expresses deep shock and grief at the mass shooting in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of June 12, 2016. We condole with the families who lost loved ones and express support for the injured.

APPNA strongly condemns attacks on innocent civilians. There is no justification whatsoever for an assault on any individual for any reason.

APPNA President Dr. Nasar Qureshi requests APPNA members to urgently donate blood as the over 53 injured are undergoing surgery and the demand for blood transfusions will be high. Dr. Qureshi also reports that APPNA is organizing a fund drive to assist the victims and their families.

APPNA stands in solidarity with our nation in this time of consuming sadness and prays for strength and fortitude for all Americans, especially the victims and their families.
