Airlines Combining, Revamping Loyalty Programs in 2015

Delta has 30 weekday departures from PIT to destinations including Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis, New York (JFK and LaGuardia) and seasonal international flights to Paris and Punta Cana. Starting January 1, 2015, miles will be earned based on ticket prices to better reward customers who spend more with Delta. The carrier is also creating more redemption options and increasing Award Seat availability at the lowest price points.

US Airways/American Airlines Dividend Miles, AAdvantage

US Airways and American Airlines have up to 60 weekday departures from PIT to destinations including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Hartford, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh-Durham, St. Louis and Washington, D.C. In the second quarter of 2015, American and US Airways will reach the next milestone on their path to integration by bringing the Dividend Miles� program into the AAdvantage� program, creating one of the largest airline loyalty programs in the world.
