Welcome to my newsletter for June 2016.

It's often tempting to escape the city in the summer, especially if you have access to a cottage. However, you can still go for a swim in Toronto! Our best known beaches are crowded, but below you'll find five lesser known spots. You'll also find information on a future indoor ski and snowboard hill and a terrific then-and-now photo essay of the city's skyline.

I have a new listing coming soon to the TREB MLS system, a large Cabbagetown home with two master suites!

The spring market continues to be busy. If you or someone you know is considering making a move this year, please give me a call!

Toronto is getting an indoor ski and snowboard hill

Don't look now Toronto homebuyers, Niagara Falls just might be your new suburb

Toronto's red hot housing market may not stretch as far as the U.S. border yet, but it's getting close.

The strongest real estate market in Ontario just might be the Niagara Region, where the dollar value of sales in April soared 36.2 per cent from a year ago, a combination of frothy prices and a major uptick in sales activity.

See how Toronto's skyline has changed since the '60s in this then-and-now photo tour

Toronto's residential construction boom of the past several years continues to alter the city's skyline.

But looking back further, to the 1960s in particular, the change is even more drastic. Then, landmarks like the CN Tower and Rogers Centre, formerly Skydome, didn't even exist, let alone other more-recent developments like CityPlace, a high-density mixed-use redevelopment of one-time Railway Lands.
