Cool Kitchen and Delicious Dishes

Wednesday, June 15th 6:30pm
Adult Program
Presented by Theresa Grimm, chef/owner of A Cook in My Kitchen
Nothing beats the freshly roasted flavor of grilled savory veggies. Maybe it's the way they soak up the flavors of the herbs or the fact that you don't have to heat up your entire kitchen to get a delicious meal. Theresa will show you tips for grilling vegetables and how to use them in a variety of recipes. This class is currently full, but you may call the library to be put on the wait list.

Somehow a theme occurred this week and we're calling it: Thrillers & Grillers

Here's a thriller: things go horribly wrong when a woman thinks that she's doing the right thing by helping a homeless young mother.

Simply Grilling
And here's a griller: 105 recipes that are easy to make while you are entertaining. Contains great tips for do-ahead preparation and things to do along the way that make things easier down the road.

Another thriller. We have a Scottoline fan on our staff and she has not been disappointed yet. This book "brings you into the grip of a true sociopath" and delves deeply into psychiatric disturbances and disorders.

And one more griller. Such great flavors in this book and a wide range of cuisines are covered: Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, Burmese and more are all influences in these recipes.
