Opportunities for public testimony will be at the beginning of the meeting. The agenda will include direction-setting for a proposed 18-month workplan, review of findings from staff's summer homework assignments and steering committee input and priorities for ongoing public engagement. A final agenda will be sent out to this email list a week prior to the meeting. 

 


HALLOWEEN IN THE VILLAGE

 SWNI FALL CLEANUP
35 volunteers picked up trash along streets. Another 16 drove trucks and helped seniors and 10 more unloaded 262 vehicles. Total collected: 21.41 tons bulky waste, 10.68 tons yard debris and 3.6 tons scrap metal. Community Warehouse filled their 20-ft truck with donated household goods that filled empty shelves.  The litter patrol, seen in the photo below wearing yellow vests, cleaned up the streets.



COMMUNITY POLICING RECEPTION
About 100 people attended SWNI Public Safety Committee's annual Community Policing Reception. The Southwest community showed their appreciation for the Southwest Community Police Officers' good work.  Click on the image below to be taken to our Facebook album.
