Adventures of Learning and Using Essential Oils Effectively
Wednesday, June 8 at 6:30 pm

Join Maria G. Turchi, a Wellness Educator and Board Certified Aromatherapy Teacher to learn  about using essential oils effectively. Using pure, therapeutic grade essential oils is more than just a moment of aromatherapy. It is a way of using these amazing gifts nature has given us safely and effectively to support the body's natural processes. In this gathering you will learn about the use and history of essential oils and experience essential oils topically, through inhalation and taste. Bring your questions and curiosity!
Ghosts of Undercliff
Thursday, June 9 at 7 pm

There was a time when the Palisades riverfront bustled with diverse communities of rivermen and their families. Historical interpreter Eric Nelsen will shed light on this forgotten time and place in a presentation titled 'The Ghosts of Undercliff'. Through images and narrative, the program looks at the ways the story of the Palisades settlements got romanticized over time - even as the life of these forgotten river communities went on, often times hidden in plain sight, after the Interstate Park was created.

 In-Between Realms
Thursday, June 23 at 7pm

Join Hercules Invictus, the founder of Regional Folklore Society of Northeastern PA and the Center for the Study of Living Myth, NJ for a lecture on In-Between Realms.

Common themes in the lore of our world's mythologies, folklore and religions strongly suggest that we share our planet with other intelligences which, though often humanoid, are not human. These beings often display magical or miraculous abilities and seem strangely unbound by the rules that govern our reality. Who are these intelligences? And what do we know of the In-Between Realms they inhabit?
