Harvie S plays "2 Colors"
Check out this clip of our good friend and Upton owner Mr. Harvie S playing the beautiful piece "2 Colors" from his "8 Duets" (part one in the Know Thy Bass series) with Thomas Morgan. Click here to purchase 8 Duets, and to visit Harvie's site, www.harvies.com. Harvie's bass is a Concert Deluxe from 2011, a direct forerunner of our hailed UB Brescian.

UB Professor Special Deluxe Double Bass A Very Special Flatback Professor...
This gorgeous 2010 Professor is back in our hands as the first owner developed a need for the extra-low range and didn't want to add an extension to this exquisite solo and section instrument. We built him a mighty Brescian 5-string, and this carefully maintained and masterfully played-in bass is ready for a new home. If you have any other questions, please give us a ring: 860-535-9399 |
Horst Schicker German Bow Sleek and light-weight, recently rehaired.
This Horst Schicker German style double bass bow is a fine example of the exemplary craftsmanship of the workshop of the same name. It is beautifully balanced and has an ergonomically designed frog that seats nicely in the palm. This bass bow was recently rehaired (white) and cleaned. |
