They will help out with general activities, like our many events, and will take on larger projects such as a member survey, database editing and other jobs that will help get them in front of our members. Sundus Hassan

Sundus is a 2015 graduate of Como High School and attends Vassar College. She is studying Political Science and Africana Studies.

 




Aisha Mohamed

Aisha is a 2015 graduate of Como High School and attends the University of Rochester (NY). She is interested in a career in P ublic Health Policy. Aisha  attended a few Chamber events last summer while interning for Hiway Federal Credit Union. 

Lydia Neus

Lydia is a 2015 graduate of Como High School and attends the University of Minnesota. She is majoring in Global Studies, with a focus on Population and Migration.

Sunrise Banks breaks ground at
 2515 Wabash Ave.
Sunrise Banks hosted a ground breaking ceremony for their future headquarters at 2515 Wabash Ave. Located west of Highway 280 and south of University Avenue, the location will be 57,000 square feet. The location was chosen in part to its proximity to the Green Line.  

  

A-Line Bus Rapid Transit opens June 11
The much anticipated A-Line will open Saturday, June 11. The bus rapid transit route will go along Snelling Avenue from Rosedale Mall to Ford Parkway, then head west to the 46th St. Station in Minneapolis. 

To celebrate, there will be festivities at four station stops, including the ribbon cutting at the Snelling/University intersection. Join us for food trucks, live music, kids activities and more!
