BROADWAY YOUTH MUSICAL REVUE Sign Ups ONGOING
For Ages 18 down to age 7

Last year's Broadway Kids Revue (logo pictured above) was so popular we are bringing it back this year. We had 45 cast members and had standing room only in our final performance.

An hour and 15 minute show featuring music from Frozen, Wicked, Disney, Broadway and Top 40.

The cast is on stage the entire show and they sing together as a group and in smaller groups as well as trios, duets and solo. We do not have auditions. You just sign up to be in the show. Please email us to let us know you plan to sign up

GENERAL INFO:

3 Performances Between the dates of Nov 19 - 23

Rehearsals begin Sunday, September 7.

Times:
5pm - 7pm for younger cast members
5pm - 8pm for older cast members

Rehearsal Location:

Rehearsals will be at the Temple in Beverly except for Jewish Holidays. During Jewish Holidays we will rehearse at the Clark School, Rte 1, Rowley. (About 12 minutes north of its current location)

FINANCIAL INFO:

Neverland gets its revenue solely from show fees, ticket sales and program book ads and concessions.

Each cast member is responsible for the following:

SHOW FEES:

$150 if paid by Thurs, July 31 - DEADLINE PASSED
$175 if paid by August 17
$200 if paid by August 31
$225 if paid by September 7
$240 if paid after September 7
You will be able to begin signing up online through our website beginning Monday, July 28.

Show fees are non-refundable.

There is only a sibling discount if you pay the $225 and over show fees. ($25 per sibling discount)

PROGRAM BOOK ADVERTISEMENT:

There is no ad requirement for our program book as we have had in the past. You are welcome to sell a business ad or put in a personal ad or wellwisher if you like. Each cast member will be able to put in a short personal bio in the program book if they get it in by the deadline.

TICKETS:

There is no requirement to purchase tickets but we hope that each cast member will be able to bring 10 people to the show. The majority of our audience is made up of family/friends of cast members.

Reminder that show fees are non-refundable.

Leading Roles:Troy, Gabriella, Sharpee (actors ages 16 thru late 20's)

Coach Bolten (male actor over the age of 30)

DANCERS: Advanced and Intermediate ages 12 to late 20's.

ENSEMBLE: CHEERLEADERS, BASKETBALL PLAYERS, BRAINIACS, SKATER DUDES and other fun characters.

SPECIAL CASTING INFO:

MALE and FEMALE DANCERS!: If you love to dance and are good at it but don't like to sing, you can dance in the show and not sing. (Just mouth the words.) Just come to an audition and tell us you just want to dance.

BOYS/TEENS/ADULTS:

If you would like to be in the play but don't like singing or dancing but like standing around acting COOL as a basketball player or skater dude, we can have some stage time for you! Just let us know. As usual we always need males!!

OFF STAGE CHOIR:

If you only like to sing and don't like to be on stage you can join our choir and sing off to the side using a black binder so you don't even have to memorize all the music! We do this and it's lots of fun!!

INFO:

Auditions for the stage show based upon the Disney Channel movie. Neverland has produced this version twice before and was the 2nd biggest Neverland show ever! (next to The Sound of Music in 2000). We are excited to bring it back! We plan to do the full version featuring adults and teens and a youth version featuring teens under 19 down to age 7.

Show Dates: November 15 - 24, 2014

REHEARSALS begin Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014

REHEARSAL DAYS:

SATURDAYS:
10am and 2pm for ensemble. 2pm - 6:30pm for Leads

MONDAYS:
6pm - 9pm - LEADS
9pm - 10pm for older teen and adult leads.

TUESDAYS:
5:30pm - 7:30pm - Ensemble
6:30pm - 9pm - Leads

DRESS REHEARSALS: There are rehearsals the week of the show every day. Saturday through Thursday November 9 - 14.(Saturday and Sunday during the day. Monday thru Thurs in the evening. Rehearsals can go as late at 10:30pm for dress rehearsals.)

REHEARSAL LOCATIONS:
On Saturdays rehearsals will be at the Clark School which is now located on Rte 1 in Rowley. About 12 minutes north of its Danvers location. If one day the Clark is unavailable, we will rehearse in Danvers at another location.

During the week rehearsals will be at the Temple in Beverly except during Jewish Holidays when they will be at the Clark School on Rte 1 in Rowley. So probably rehearsals will be about 60% at the Temple and 40% at the Clark. We will update the rehearsal schedule weekly letting the cast know where rehearsals will be that week.

SHOW FEE:

Ages 18 and over: $100
Ages 17 and under: $300
($25 discount per show fee for siblings)

CHOIR(For ages 16 to adult) - $85

PROGRAM BOOK:
There is no program book requirement for this show. We still will accept business ads and cast members may purchase well-wishers if they want but no requirement to sell ads. Each cast member will receive a bio in the program book.

AUDITION PREPARATION:

MONOLOGUE: Please bring a monologue/scene. It doesn't have to be memorized. Younger cast members can read a poem or read from a book.

SINGING: Please bring a verse or two of a song of your choice. If trying out for a lead please prepare a song that the character would sing.

DANCING: If you want to be considered for a dancer in the show (Also for leads), please bring a quick little dance routine. It doesn't need to have music, just put together some dance steps such as jazz squares, grapevines, whatever you want. Use your creativity.

We may have a dance portion of the auditions. If we do please come prepared to move. Wear proper shoes.
