Based on the first night of Taraweeh, we are making some adjustments to better accommodate everyone!
  1. Mod 2 Trailer Unit is exclusively for women and their children for prayer, there are 2 large rooms with rugs, the audio system is working great.  Please we encourage sisters to use this dedicated space for their comfort and convenience. Bathrooms are exclusive for sisters only as well.
     
  2. Mod 1 is where babysitting will take place!
     
  3. We need people to help volunteer for Parking Management help to supplement our paid resources. Please send an email to [email protected]
     
  4. See Parking Diagram below for guidance and instructions to expect upon arrival to ISCJ.  In addition, we expect the graduation tent to be removed by Wednesday and lighting solution will be in place in the new temporary parking area this week.

Ramadan Mubarak!
 
In accordance with the Fiqh Council of North America, the first day of Ramadan will be on Monday, June 6 th and Eid ul-Fitr on Wednesday, July 6 th , Insha'Allah.  

Our beloved Muqri Ismael Essa Abdelsalam Mabrouk will be leading the Ramadan Taraweeh prayer again this year.  Taraweeh start and completion times are approximate and can change based on recitation. 

First Taraweeh will be on Sunday, June 5th.  Adhan of Isha will call at 10:03pm, Insha'Allah. 

Additional new temporary parking space has been created for your convenience. Please arrive early and follow the instructions and directions from the security team and ISCJ volunteers.

Top 10 Friendly ISCJ Ramadan Reminders! 


    1. SMILE AND EXERCISE PATIENCE AT ALL TIMES!
    2. We strongly encourage carpooling when coming to ISCJ for Taraweeh prayers. Those within walking distance should walk to masjid.
    3. Please cooperate with all staff and volunteers at all times, especially the parking lot attendants directing traffic, they are here to help us!
    4. Mod 2 Trailer Unit is now exclusively for women and their young children for prayers. Please utilize this dedicated space for your comfort and convenience!
    5. Babysitting is available in Module 1 for children ages 4 to 9, from Isha to the end of the first 8th Rakats of Taraweeh.   Please pick up your child on time, as the babysitters will pray the rest of the Taraweeh. You must sign in your child for babysitting.   ISCJ will not be responsible for children not officially signed in for babysitting. 
    6. For those leaving Taraweeh prayers before the end of 8 and 20 Rakats, please carry any conversations outside the Masjid and do not block any exit and entrances.  
    7. In order to keep up with the increased utility and operational expenses in Ramadan, we are humbly requesting all congregants to support ISCJ with your generous donations
    8. You will notice enhanced lighting throughout the entire ISCJ Campus for better visibility and safety.
    9. There will be no dinner Iftars at ISCJ, community and/or personal.
    10. Fajr Adhan will be on time.

THERE IS NO SMOKING ALLOWED ON THE ISCJ CAMPUS, EVEN OUTSIDE.  
If you see someone smoking ask them to politely put out their cigarette!!!
