United Way Day of Action is an invitation for people and organizations around the world to LIVE UNITED and take action to address a variety of challenges.
It is a day that we ask YOU to help us put our mission into action by
improving the building blocks for a good quality of life.
 
Hundreds of people throughout Washtenaw County will be serving at a variety
of different agencies on Tuesday, June 21. 
 
Companies, groups and individuals are invited to sign up,
serve and LIVE UNITED!

NDOA Volunteer option:
Michigan Ability Partners


 

 

 

Michigan Ability Partners provides housing and  services to homeless
veterans and individuals with disabilities. On the National Day of Action,
they will be hosting volunteer activities at three locations: Homezone,
Whispering Creek, and Maple View. Volunteers can help plant a garden,
pick up trash, repair a broken fence, and much more!

Spring Fling Chore Day!

Help with outside chores, yard clean up
and small outside fixes for 5 older adults
living in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti!  Work
might include trimming, outside lower
level window washing, fence repair,
painting, weeding, raking, and more.
 
 
NDOA Volunteer option: Girls on the Run of Southeastern Michigan

Pack & Prep Day!

Help the Girls on the Run staff with
conducting inventory of their supply
bags. Volunteers will help count and
sort season materials such as lap
counters, first aid kits, construction
paper, scissors, markers and more!
