It's time to start preparing for FestiFALL. This is the Chamber's largest event, and is designed to promote local business. Our goal is to bring people from both inside and outside our community to downtown Miami for a day of fun and shopping. Please consider sponsoring the event, as we cannot do it without your support! The Ottawa County Farmers' Market starts this week. Mark your calendars for Thursday from 4-7pm and head to the Episcopal Church at 225 B Street NW. Let's support these farmers and help this market grow! The Peoria Tribe is needing volunteers for the Adams Pro Golf Tournament. Please consider helping with this fun event. I did last year and it was a blast! Call Annette Black at 918-541-5460. More information is in this email. Remember to Shop Local First all year long. Have a great week! Michele On June 6, 1932 Millner Fribley was selling all-wool bathing suits for $1.98. (That sounds a little itchy to me!) |
