It has been a busy quarter so far at the Center. We kicked off the month with a fascinating talk by Dr. Roderic Camp on the progress made by President Enrique Pea Nieto's administration during his first 16 months in office, and will be joined this week by Dr. Lynn Stephen, who will present her latest book on social movements in Oaxaca.
Later in the month, we will host talks by famed journalist Alfredo Corchado and Rafael Fernandez de Castro, founder and head of the Department of International Studies at ITAM. Please join us to hear their analysis on the security situation in Mexico. You can find more information on their talks and other great events at the Center below. Be on the lookout in May for information on the new cohort of Visiting Fellows and Scholars that will be joining us next year at the Center, as well as details on an upcoming visit by McKinsey & Company's Jaana Remes, who will present McKinsey Global Institute's recent report, "A tale of two Mexicos: Growth and prosperity in a two-speed economy." Un abrazo,
