Vistas in Education

Vistas in Education has over 70 French students coming to Minnesota this summer to experience our American culture! They are looking for Host Families to welcome these ambitious students! Ages range from 13-18 years old. All the students have studied English, and their language skills will vary.

Families will provide:

  • Warm, welcoming family environment
  • Open and willing to share your lives for a short period of time
  • Interested in learning about other cultures
  • Must have a son/daughter in the home of approximately the same age as the French student
  • You don't have to speak French! The French students come to immerse themselves in English (although a French/English dictionary is always a good idea)!
  • It's OK if the parents are working or that the student works part-time. They simply ask that the family make alternate plans for the French student with other friends or members of the family so that he/she is not alone while the family is working.

Dates are: July 1-13, 11-31, 15-30 and Aug 1-15.

Visit Vistas in Education online for more details.
