About the CIC:

The Census Information Center of Eastern Oklahoma provides access to data generated from the US Census Bureau and through the Community Service Council's Data and Systems Development Task Forces.

Demographic and Economic Profiles of Oklahoma's Electorate

T he U.S. Census Bureau presents a variety of statistics that give an overall profile of the state's voting-age population and industries. Statistics include:

Voting-age population and estimate of eligible voters (i.e., citizens age 18 and older).
Breakdown of voting-age population by race and Hispanic origin (Hispanic origin and race alone) (race alone or in combination).
Selected social characteristics, including educational attainment.
County Business Patterns (providing information on employment by specific industries).
Statistics on voting and registration.
Selected economic characteristics, including median household income and poverty.

Hurricane Season Begins
The north Atlantic hurricane season begins June 1 and lasts through Nov. 30. The Census Bureau produces timely local statistics that are critical to emergency planning, preparedness and recovery efforts. This edition of Facts for Features highlights the number of people living in areas that could be most affected by these dramatic acts of nature. Internet address

Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month
We recognize the contributions of Asian/Pacific Americans to our nation with a host of statistical information on this group. Statistics are included for Asians as well as Native Hawaiians and Other Pacific Islanders covering demographics and businesses. Internet address
