The Friends of Van Cortlandt Park will be joining the Van Cortlandt Park Conservancy, Van Cortlandt Park Track Club host a series of races this fall benefiting our world renowned Cross Country Trail.

In June of 1958, NYRR was founded IN THE BRONX as the Road Runners Club-New York Association with about 40 members. The group met at Macombs Dam Park and 1952 Olympic marathoner Ted Corbitt was elected its first official president.

On Sunday, September 28, the NYRR Five-Borough Series: Bronx 10 Mile will continue the tradition of celebrating the great borough of the Bronx.
