As always, the turn of a calendar page to a new year brings a chance to start over.  2015 is upon us.  Well, maybe you don't need to start over.  Maybe things are all headed in the right direction. 
 
But everyone is making New Year's Resolutions.  You want to be part of it.
 
Here is what I am going to do.  I am going to  work on the small things.  An extra "hello", an extra "smile", an extra "thank you".

 On Another Note
  
Newsletter goes bi-monthly
  
   I know, many of you just can't wait for the next monthly issue of the Cascade Insurance Center News. But I don't want to overwhelm everyones inbox.  So as a compromise,  we will be sending out the newsletter every other month.  We will still send out email blasts when something important or extra newsworthy comes up, especially with the changes still in store on health insurance.   
  
So your next regular issue will be in March.  Until then, enjoy 2015!
  
  

HEALTH INSURANCE  

 

Open Enrollment  

The end of open enrollment for 2015 is in sight. The last day to apply for a plan, baring any "life changes" is February 15th.

If you are not using the exchange to purchase a plan you have until the end of January for a February 1st effective date or February 15th for a March 1st effective date. If you are eligible for tax credits to offset the cost of your policy you have until February 15th for a March 1st effective date.

 

If you use the Federal Exchange (FFM) website to purchase a plan, you will need to put your agent's National Producer Number (NPN) where it asks "Is someone helping you with this application?" These are our numbers:

Lura Reynolds Retires!
  

  

 

 

 

 

 

"By the time this gets to your inbox, I will already be retired.  I am retiring on 12-31-14 after 16 years here at Cascade Insurance Center and 37 years overall in insurance.  It has been a pleasure and a privilege to have known and done business with all of you.  I will miss our talks and sharing of experiences/adventures - and I will miss my co-workers.

Those were Lura's words that she asked me to print for all of her valued customers.  But we at Cascade Insurance Center will miss her too.  16 years is a long time,  and it will certainly be a change when we all get to work and Lura is not there.

Refer someone to Cascade Insurance Center and get something back! For every referral you get: 

 

  • $5 dollars in cash, PLUS a $5 match to Grandma's House!  What qualifies as a referral?  A referral is when we get a call for a quote from someone saying you referred them to us.
  • There's more!  You will also be entered into our monthly and annual drawings for prizes.  Each month we draw for a $50 VISA gift card.  Each person who has referred someone to us that month is eligible.  We'll announce who won in our monthly newsletter, sent by email.
  • For our annual drawing, each referral you've given through the year equals one entry for our drawing the first week of December for a chance to win the Grand Prize!
