NOTICE, YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED
The City of Bulverde is seeking a Texas Water Development Board matching grant to study storm water runoff and drainage in and around our community. 
The City applied for the same grant last year without success. The Board informed us that our submittal was deficient most notably in two areas. One being testimonials and pictures of actual flooding events or losses by residents. The second deficiency is a list of flood insurance policies (both FEMA and private flood insurance) in effect for the area, and any
 claims submitted.
If you can supply either of these items for submittal with the City's grant application, it is believed the City may be successful in obtaining the matching funds this year.
A detailed study of our watershed will provide us with much needed data to assure future growth and development will not negatively affect the health, safety and welfare of our community. It will also provide a valuable insight into what types of drainage improvements will provide the most benefit for the least amount of money.

Habitat for Safe Seniors has an upcoming food fairs to help those in need.
THIS Friday, January 9th at 8:00 am.
Please dress warm, the weather will be very cold. The more help we have the quicker we can get the elderly out of the cold weather.
Come and meet our crew and the clients. We believe this is the best place to volunteer and donate. You are always welcome to come and see where your money goes and the labor of love put into it.

JANUARY 17 - TENNIS BOOT CAMP (ITS A FAMILY EVENT!!)
This is a lot of fun, high pace and energy. You don't need any prior experience with tennis to enjoy this event. The Boot Camp will be held on Saturday, January 17 from 9 am-11: 30 am.
