In a quick preview of what I see in the news this early morning, much of the same thing regarding the formation of the new government, talk around that....how it is going....even who a few selected members of Abadi's government might be....but as I've cautioned before....take these announcements with a grain of salt until we hear from either Abadi himself or from the Parliament announcing the new GOI.

Fuad Masum, the Iraqi president in a session with limited (time) is full of secrets

The Iraqi President Massoum is saying that Iraq intends to improve relationships with neighboring countries....he reiterated that talks are continuing regarding the new government selection process despite some sharp remarks from some parties....meanwhile talks are commencing with area countries and other entities around the world to improve relations and to repair damage that might have been caused in the past.....President Massoum also stated that the crimes committed in Mosul should be paid and justly so that all parties in Iraq should be involved in the process of pushing the terrorists out of the country and eliminating them as a threat.....they move forward with an outlook towards a brighter future for all of Iraq.

Two of the ministers are being contested by a representative from Najaf and wants them replaced. The minister of health and the minister of utilities.

The President of Parliament is giving them two more days to be replaced.

News coming out of Vietnam and China today defines the restoration of the relationship between both countries. Terminology such as "promptly restore, stabilize, and develop" and instructions to "seriously implement the agreement" are very telling of the sense of urgency felt in Vietnam.

In the post "The Dong Revaluation is Imminent" we covered how the State Bank of Vietnam and Vietnamese government, through the MAG Working Group have advertised their intentions to remove the dong from its fixed exchange rate with the US dollar.

I got News Agency on the text of the document 'national paper' presented by the National Alliance to political blocs to agree on the formation of the Iraqi government, headed by Haidar al-Abbadi, at the time described the participants in the negotiating committee on the formation of the Iraqi government that the panel discussion was poor and did not come out the results satisfy any of the parties negotiations.

Tis Friday and there appears to be a higher than normal amount of news traffic this morning....though some of it is talking about the same topic....the formation of the new government to be coming within the next 48 hours....something that we've been seeing promised for the past 7-10 days now...."just 2 more days"...."just 48 hours"....well....the 10th draws ever closer...is all I will say regarding their "48 hours."

Urgent .. A roundtable meeting tomorrow to discuss the program of al- Abadi Government

First notice of an "urgent" meeting to be held today to discuss Abadi's government....we shall see what truly transpires from this that is so urgent.

BAGHDAD / NINA / A source in the National Alliance announced on Thursday that a round-table meeting for the negotiating delegations will be held tomorrow in Baghdad in the presence of the assigned Prime Minister Haider Abadi devoted to discuss the program of the new government

The source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the meeting also will be attended by leaders of political blocs, without specifying the place of the meeting.

He added that the attendance, in the event their approval of the program, will sign it and are filing copies of the document and the agreement in the Federal Court and other parties / not mentioned / to ensure their implementation.
