Invitation to Attend a 
Tribal Leader Discussion with U.S. Senate Committee on Finance
NAFOA will host a tribal leader discussion on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (EST) with the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance. 

The tribal leadership discussion will cover timely topics including tax reform, oversight on the implementation of the General Welfare Exclusion Act (GWE), provisions 
commonly referred to as "Indian Extenders" within the Expiring Provisions Improvement Reform and Efficiency 
Act (EXPIRE), along with other Indian issues. The purpose of this meeting is for the Finance staff to gain valuable insight from tribal leaders and to discuss the next steps regarding tribal government tax and finance issues.
