WOW...wow...wow.

Did you guys show up or what? THANK YOU for all of you that came out on Wednesday to help set up for the summer activities! It was incredible having so many men and women working and cheering each other on during this incredible time. We are just so blessed.

The next WOW time will be Sunday as we welcome the Central Baptist Church of Douglasville team. It is my hearts desire to see scores of Church 213 members awaiting the arrival of this team, holding "welcome" signs, jumping up and down, cheering like never before as they pull onto our property at 5:30 p.m. (that means you will need to be there by 5:00!). We want to welcome this team (and all the ones behind them) that are giving a week of their time to come help us build! Its the LEAST we can do!

I'd also like to ask that if you can come any day this week (even Saturday) and swing a hammer with this group, help carry lumber or nails, take them bottled water or just come sit with them as they take breaks, PLEASE DO SO. We don't want our teams to just come and us never take the opportunity to get to know these folks that are saving us 40% of the cost of our building. So come on out!

Don't miss out on any of it. This is the kind of stuff that will be talked about for years to come...

Building Update

This is it, guys! The week that we have all waited for! As MANY of you know (as you were on site!) the tent was erected on Wednesday night and items such as tables, chairs, fans, coolers, first aid kits, and trash cans were set up. This week's volunteer team is Central Baptist Church from Douglasville. They will bring 40 members to help us frame the interior rooms from Monday morning until Saturday. If you can come out on Saturday morning and build alongside of this team, we encourage you to do so!

Wonderful Wednesdays

During the summer months, instead of our usual Wednesday night Bible Studies, we will host a series of events at our Highway 213 property. These events will allow us to spend time with the volunteers of the week and will begin on Wednesday, June 8 with our first team, Central Baptist Church of Douglasville. We will have a short devotion, then have watermelon and fellowship with the team. Don't miss out on these fun times and a chance for you to get to say thank you to our volunteers!

Super WOW Info

If your child is going to Super WOW, there will be a short meeting on Sunday, June 12 immediately after church. Each student going and one parent is asked to be present. All parents will need to fill out necessary paperwork concerning medical releases for the week. If you need further info, please contact Pastor Stan at 706-347-4040.
