Mt. Zion Congregational Church UCC
Rev. Paul Hobson Sadler, Sr., Pastor

Mt. Zion Congregational Church is the third oldest predominantly African American church in Northeast Ohio and the first Congregational Church established east of the Mississippi River by and for African Americans.

In the waning days of the Civil War, 19 pilgrims joined together in a new fellowship to worship God and to form a society that would assist newly freed slaves transition to a new life of freedom.  Today, Mt. Zion, celebrating 150 years of ministry, joins together in a new venture...to assist formerly incarcerated persons transition to a new life of freedom and transform into productive and meaningful lives.

Join with us in this special effort and great celebration!

The Silent Auction

A highlight of the evening will be the Silent Auction.  Among the items available are tickets to a Cleveland Cavaliers Game, a flat screen television and the Signature Auction Item -- a week in Mexico for four!  You also do not need to be present to win.

This "No Bid" Silent Auction revolves around tickets.  You purchase tickets for the items you are interested in winning.  You place your tickets in the "basket" for that particular prize.  The more tickets you purchase, the greater your chances.  At the same time, however, it only takes one to win!

For our top prizes, we will give you the opportunity to purchase tickets, at a pre-gala discount.  Click this link to purchase your tickets.  Again, you do not have to attend the gala to win or participate in the auction.
